In occasione della Giornata della Ricerca Italiana nel Mondo, l’Ambasciata d’Italia a Nicosia, in collaborazione con The Cyprus Institute, co-organizza la conferenza Challenges and Opportunities in the Modeling and Simulation of the Built Environment, tenuta dal professore italiano Salvatore Carlucci (Norwegian University of Science and Technology – NTNU).
La Giornata della Ricerca Italiana nel Mondo è un’iniziativa del MIUR in collaborazione con il MAECI e il Ministero della Salute, il cui scopo è promuovere e valorizzare il lavoro di ricercatrici e ricercatori italiani nel mondo. L’evento si svolge annualmente in concomitanza con l’anniversario della nascita di Leonardo Da Vinci, il 15 aprile.
On the occasion of the Italian Research Day in the World, the Embassy of Italy in Nicosia, in collaboration with The Cyprus Institute, co-organizes the conference Challenges and Opportunities in the Modeling and Simulation of the Built Environment, by the Italian Professor Salvatore Carlucci (Norwegian University of Science and Technology – NTNU).
The Italian Research Day in the World is an initiative of the Italian Ministry of Education, Universities and Research in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Health, which aim is to promote and enhance the work of Italian researchers worldwide. The event takes place annually in conjunction with the anniversary of Leonardo Da Vinci’s birth, the 15th of April.
The lecture will take place on Tuesday the 16th of April 2019, at The Cyprus Institute, Guy Ourisson Building, Seminar Room, 1st Floor, Athalassa Campus.

UmbriaEnsemble, a prestigious group of classical Italian soloists and chamber musicians, will hold a classical music concert entitled “Rossiniana” as part of the Larnaca Festival of Classic Music, one of the island’s most famous classical music events. The concert, which includes well-known chamber music pieces, was chosen to close the Festival, which takes place from the 3rd to the 13th of April.
The concert will take place on Saturday the 13th of April, at 20.30 at Larnaka Municipal Theatre, Municipal Gardens, Leonida Kioupi Street.

UmbriaEnsemble, prestigioso gruppo di solisti e cameristi classici italiani, terrà un concerto di musica classica dal titolo “Rossiniana” nell’ambito del Festival di Musica Classica di Larnaca., tra i più famosi eventi di musica classica dell’isola. Il concerto, che prevede le famose Ouverture operistiche ed altri gioielli cameristici, è stato scelto come spettacolo di chiusura del Festival, che si svolgerà dal 3 aprile al 13 aprile.

Dogman, by Italian Film Director Matteo Garrone, will be screened during the Cyprus Film Days International Festival, the official film festival of Cyprus. A 2018 Italian-French co-production, Dogman is the receiver of prestigious awards including Best Actor and Palm Dog Award and Palme D’Or Nominee at the Cannes Film Festival 2018. It is set in a seaside village, where the protagonist spends his time between his dog grooming salon and his daughter Alida, until the moment he is forced to stand up for his own dignity through an act of vengeance.

The Festival, which will take place from the 12th to the 20th of April, is organized by the Minister of Education and Culture and the Rialto Theater, will take place at the Rialto Theater in Limassol and the Zena Palace in Nicosia.
Dogman, del regista italiano Matteo Garrone, sarà proiettato durante il Cyprus Film Days International Festival, il festival cinematografico ufficiale dell’isola di Cipro. Film italo-francese del 2018, Dogman è vincitore di prestigiosi premi tra cui Best Actor and Palm Dog Award e Palme D’Or Nominee al Festival del Cinema di Cannes 2018. È ambientato in una cittadina in riva al mare, dove il protagonista si divide tra il suo salone per la cura dei cani e sua figlia Alida, finché non è costretto a vendicarsi per difendere la sua dignità.
Il Festival, che si svolgerà dal 12 al 20 aprile, è organizzato dal Ministero dell’Istruzione e della Cultura e dal Teatro Rialto, si svolgerà presso il Teatro Rialto di Limassol e il Zena Palace di Nicosia.
