You are cordially invited to ST LOUIS’ 3RD ANNUAL CARNEVALE VENEZIANO – the Premier Venetian Masquerade Gala in St Louis . Last year, we brought this timeless Italian tradition to Soulard’s eclectic Mad Art Gallery. We’re thrilled to do the same on Saturday, February 22, 2020.

This year we’re proud to feature the art of Evelyn Astegno, and her series of 10 masterpieces entitled MASQUERADE, rococò inspired paintings of Venice and its famed Carnevale, which will be on display. Astegno was born and raised in Vicenza, a town outside Venice in northeastern Italy. After graduating from the University of Venice, she moved to St Louis where she has been a resident artist and curator at Third Floor Gallery on Washington Avenue. She has had numerous works on display at art galleries in the U.S. and Italy.
Venetian style masquerade masks are strongly encouraged. Prizes will be awarded for the three best masks. Colorful cocktails and a photo booth will be provided by Purus Vodka, (a Made in Italy and local STL owned organic vodka).
An exquisite dinner served buffet-style will be prepared by culinary artist Ron Buechele followed by music and entertainment. Wine and beer are included in the purchase of an adult ticket and an open bar will be provided.
